Upper Wargrave to Fingest & Frieth
After a dull overcast morning I set off to Wargrave more in hope than expectation. However by the time I started cycling the sun was out and the Autumn colours were really in full swing. The locations enroute were very familiar territory, but the light and seasonal colours made photographing them a must. I deliberately stayed out for the sunset to capture the scene as I crossed the Thames and headed up Remenham Hill back to Wargrave.

Very nice - looks like you were out a long time
ReplyDeleteWhat a smashing set.
ReplyDeleteI especially like the silhouhetted lone tree on the ridge.
The bike wheels are a bit novel too
Riding up Remenham Hill on the way back to Wargrave, instead of taking the riverside road after a long day out, is showing off a bit though, don't you think?
Great set of photos - I love the Autumn colours, the reflections in the river and the transition from day to dusk. Would be good as a panel of prints although it needs more than three prints for the full effect.
ReplyDeleteThanks David.
