Henley to Freith & back via Hambleden

A beautiful day for a bike ride, with hardly a cloud in the sky. A little chilly at first, but it soon warmed up and I had to quickly de-layer. I started at Henley, up to Fawley, Northend, Turville, Fingest, Freith, Bockmer, Hambleden Lock and back to Henley. 22 miles covered.

From the bridge at Henley. I was attracted to the light and colour on the boats and Willow tree & then some rowers moved nicely into position.

Beech woods in Fawley.

Lovely rolling countryside near Northend.

Turville and the first Bluebells I have seen this year. PS They are not Bluebells!

More from Turville.

Turville - Cottage gardens, with Magnolia & Washing Line.

Next to the Vicarage at Turville.

Fingest - This has to be my favourite church in the area. Lovely colours on the church, with daffs & the flag of St George.

Graveyard at Fingest. This was all under water this time last year.

A curious Lamb, near Hambleden.

Hambleden Lock. I know, it's been photographed a thousand times before, but how can you resist?

More from the Lock.
